Gar...so, I'm a little frustrated by this. The purpose in rushing out
6.3, AFAIK, was to get a Mesa release for inclusion in X.org 7.0.
However, there are some changes that pretty much everyone agreed were "a
good thing" for 7.0 that aren't in Mesa CVS yet. Had I not been on
vacation last week and at DDC this week, they'd be done by now.

I'm not sure how much it matters since most of those changes are in
areas not included in formal Mesa releases (e.g., stuff under src/glx/x11).

I guess the real question is, now what? Is X.org going to import 6.3
now, and import a hypothetical 6.3.1 in another few weeks? Do we have
to wait to make the compatability breaking changes until 7.1? Is there
some other choice I'm not seeing?
