Xorg 6.9 and ACPID

This is not what I am experiencing during my run level
5 start up.  After a few basic things are checked and
done, a graphical interface is created. To me, this
means Xorg has been started.  Then it tries to start a
bunch of services, including ACPID. This is when ACPID
fails with that error.
