using laptop as second monitor?

ok, xhost (on 10.33.33.1) says now:
"access control enabled, only authorized clients can connect
INET:10.33.33.2"

But I still get "(Fatal Error) dmx: dmxOpenDisplay: Unable to open display 
10.33.33.1:0"

I tried "xhost +" too -> ""access control disabled, clients can connect from 
any host"
But I still cannot connect. Do I need to change something in /etc/X11/xdm? 
Maybe there are some other security options running (KDE-stuff maybe?) that 
don't allow access to my laptop's X.
