Enabling dri on a radeon X300

No, it's no a distro specific thing because i'm on a DIY box, the drm
radeon is a module. No messages appear in the log when the module is
loaded, and i guess this is really my problem with DRI: the radeon drm
module doesn't detect properly my card...

Anyway, i was compiling radeonfb in the kernel, and i just found out that
disabling it makes the radeon idle errors in the XOrg.log dissapear
and i got no more redrawing problems in X. Yeah, DRI is still disabled
:-?, but at least i have X
working in 2d without problems. So there's seem to be some kind of
(bad) interaction
between radeonfb and the radeon X driver.
