The max resolution for DVI is around 1920x1200 (i.e. 24" screens). To
drive 30" screens you need a dual-link DVI card (Warning! Dual-DVI cards
don't work, you need a real *dual-link* DVI card).
You can find some X800 or x850 which should work with the r300 driver
and are dual-link.
