Do you happen to have a pointer to a location where one can get the
specs to the earlier chips? The Intel site still only lists the i810
and i815 manuals in http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/manuals/,
and the datasheets available on e.g. 
http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/845/documentation.htm
don't have the necessary register descriptions.
