There is no /temp. You probably mean /tmp.

Also you should use Novell's bugzilla and not this list for support with
these issues.

That's practically impossible, if the root filesystem is mounted r/w
(i.e. it doesn't contain unfixable errors). Probably again, you should
look for /tmp/.X0-lock

Also, the log file doesn't indicate any failure.
