random text on tvtime

I upgraded to xorg-server to 1.4-r2 (from 1.4-r1). and there is random 
text on tvtime now.

I reemerged tvtime and reinstalled to video driver but the random text 
is still there.
I did a memory test on my computer but that is fine.
I can't use the open source nv driver with tvtime because it requires 
hardware YUL or something.
