vmmouse driver and calling conversion_proc

Hi Magnus,

A few months ago, we at VMware noticed that the latest X servers had stopped
calling conversion_proc and we made a change to call it from within the driver.
In that original discussion, you said that this was a bug and once your fixes
from http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10324 were in, it would not
be necessary to do the conversion anymore. Accordingly, we marked that we
only needed to make the call between 1.3.99.0 and 1.4.0.90.

But I'm not getting reports that the driver doesn't work for newer 1.4.99.x (1.5)
X servers. At a glance at your patches, I don't see any restoration of calling
conversion_proc.

So what exactly is the situation here? Do we still need to call it or not?
