Corrupted DPI information after rotate

I am using X.Org version 1.3.0 with an NVIDIA Geforce 8800 Ultra, driver 
version 169.07. Whenever I rotate my screen with xrandr, the DPI of the 
display is jumpled. It originally is 95x95 -- it's a 21" Samsung running at 
1600x1200. After the rotation it is often 127x71 or 71x127. This is clearly 
very wrong. How do I fix this?
