Hi,

At present we are trying VESA driver for Multi-monitor support with
Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset on Asianux Server 3 (Xorg-7.1).

Following settings are using for "Device" sections in Xorg.conf file.

Section "Device"

      Identifier "Videocard0"

      Driver "vesa"

      BusID "PCI:0:2:0"

EndSection

Section "Device"

      Identifier "Videocard1"

      Driver "vesa"

      VendorName "Videocard Vendor"

BoardName "Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express
Graphics Controller"

      BusID "PCI:0:2:1"

      Screen 1

EndSection

But when we start the Xserver (using command startx -- +xinerama), after
modifying the xorg.conf file then the server produces following error
message.

(EE) VESA(0): No valid modes

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:

no screens found

Thanks & Regards

    Ashish Jain
