adding XDM on BLFS (xdmcp)

hi,
   I installed libXdmcp-1.0.3 on my BLinuxFromScratch (+xorg7.5 ecc..)
now I would like to active xdmcp (via XDM)

I install:

xdm-1.1.10.tar.gz

then I add in /etc/inittab:

x:5:respawn:/usr/local/bin/xdm -nodaemon

I allow xdmcp in: 
- /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess
- /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config

but when I enter in runleve5, xdm start, but no 177 port is open in : 
netstat -an |grep 177 


but when I start xdm (local) I have error authentication, 
and in xdm.log: 
error setting MTRR (base = 0xf0000000, size = 0x00100000, type = 1) 
Inappropriate ioctl for device (25)






what I wrong ?
