One of the points in the first email was that the author doesn't want MS or others taking
his work and claiming it as their own. Aside from any poltical feelings on the issue, in
practical terms, I doubt this would ever happen. As it is, MS Office comes with hundreds
of images, and they have a warehouse full of more images availible for download on
their website. I don't think they need our images, quite frankly. But if they do use it, who
cares? We are not an open source-only website. It even says that on the home page,
that closed projects can use our images.

"This project has the goal of creating a free archive of clip art that can be used with
free software, closed software, distributed with various software distributions, or be
used in graphic design compositions"

-From http://www.openclipart.org/

Not to be harsh, but if that is not something you are comfortable with, then you should
not contribute your images to this project. I am not trying to discourage anyone from contributing, I am trying to clarify the goal of the project.

Now, as far as attribution is concerned, I believe the Meta-Data handles that, doesn't it?
Or are we still working on that?

Hope this clarifies the situtation. :)
