oh, i'm not expecting OCAL to do this. it would be something that i or another 
KDE developer would do. obviously this would take some coordination w/OCAL on 
things such as the metadata usage and directory layouts.

heh.. well, IME an article on theDot results in 2-3000 people visiting your 
site directly with more reading the actual article ... when it spins out to 
other venues that cover theDot, that brings a thousand or three more people, 
depending on the topic.

no promises, of course, just that's what i've experienced in the past =)
