[Clipart] DiscLabel 5.0 for Mac OS X ships with support for OCAL

SmileOnMyMac has released a new version of our DiscLabel application  
for Mac OS X. In this version we have added support for SVG clip art,  
and on our website we have a download which consists of about 1300  
selected Open Clip Art Library images.

We rely on keywords/tags in the SVG files, and use Apple's Spotlight  
technology to provide a browsing-via-tags user interface for clip  
art. Because SVG support on Mac OS X is still spotty, we convert the  
images when they are inserted into the label design.

We really appreciate the Open Clip Art Library and all the work that  
has gone into it. When we started planning this feature a year ago,  
we were impressed with the quality of the OCAL images, and decided  
that it was worth writing an SVG interpreter to access them. Our  
interpreter doesn't handle all the SVG features in the current spec,  
but most of the clip art seems to stick with the basics.

Part of our process for selecting clip arts to provide alongside  
DiscLabel was to add and/or clean up the tags in the images we  
included.  It might be worthwhile to try to get these keyword  
improvements applied to the SVGs on the server, but while I am quite  
experienced with XML and Cocoa/Objective C, all of my web server  
experience has been with Java Servlets and JSP, nothing with PHP. I  
would need some serious PHP hand-holding, or just an http API that  
would let me fetch and then possibly replace SVG files by file name.
