<BODY dir=ltr>
<DIV>Hi,</DIV>
<DIV> I'm back. I reinstalled Pango and this time scim installed
properly(at least I thought it did) but I get another error when it tries to
load the panel. The error is as follows:</DIV>
<DIV>socket IMEngine module is successfully loaded.<BR>Loading x11 FrontEnd
module ...<BR>Starting SCIM ...<BR>/usr/local/lib/scim-1.0/scim-panel-gtk: error
while loading shared libraries: libscim-gtkutils-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory<BR>scim::FrontEnd: X11 -- failed to
connect to the panel daemon!<BR>SCIM has exited abnormally.<BR></DIV>
<DIV>I did a search for this library but could not find it on my system. I
was wondering why it did not get installed with scim? This is driving me crazy
:( I really appreciate you taking time to help me on this.</DIV>
