with my unexperience.<BR>I just installed scim in my Mandrake Linux 9.1
successfully.<BR>When I do: '$ scim', scim starts regularly. Then I open an
editor,<BR>say kwrite, and do 'Ctrl space', but scim doesn't activate
itself.<BR>I also tried to open kwrite from terminal with:<BR><BR>$
XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM GTK_IM_MODULE="scim" kwrite<BR><BR>, but the problem
remains.<BR>Could anyone suggest what I am missing?<BR><BR>Thanks in
