Yes,
I can reproduce this to using the latest cvs code ,and older code .
I get _exactly_ the same error.
using automake 1.8 , gcc 3.3.3

./autogen.sh --prefix=/opt/fdo ; ./configure --prefix=/opt/fdo 
--build=x86_64 && make


Any advice ?
