Additional to what David noted that check probably needs to be:

if (devices[i]->bustype != DRM_BUS_PCI ||
     devices[i]->deviceinfo.pci->vendor_id != 0x1002)
         continue;

Or do we sell GPUs connected to USB as well?

Apart from that looks good to me and it is really good that somebody 
finally looks into this cause trouble with that on my A+A laptop.
