[Quan, Evan] No, not such complicated. There are only two fan control mode: auto and manual.
The settings working under manual mode:  temp/pwm curve settings
The settings working under auto mode: all others (acoustic limit/target, temperature target, minimum pwm...)
And those settings for auto mode can co-work with each other. They affect the auto fan control via different manners and are not mutually exclusive.
