The patch below does not apply to the 6.8-stable tree.
If someone wants it applied there, or to any other stable or longterm
tree, then please email the backport, including the original git commit

This reverts commit 5f38ac54e60562323ea4abb1bfb37d043ee23357.
This causes issues with rebooting and the 7800XT.
