Hi Hal,

Currently so far as I know Fedora/Ubuntu are really our main targets for releasing pro-stack components. I'd say users could probably unpack the pro-stack Fedora components but that's likely a copyright violation so let's avoid that path.

Our release schedule (for the pro components) isn't public so we can't comment on that right now. Other than to say that we're trying to have KMD changes as part of each window.

Perhaps other AMDers could comment more specifically if they happen to know public info I'm missing.

Cheers,

Excellent. Thank you.

My first question then is, when will there be rpm's for amdgpu-pro
available for openSUSE soon? We had a fantastic opportunity to demo the
amdgpu-pro driver to a very wide technical audience recently (June
9th-13th, Southeast Linux Fest), however as openSUSE ambassadors we
don't run Ubuntu.

As AMD is a platinum sponsor for openSUSE we make it a point to demo all
AMD hardware at these conferences. We don't run anything else
hardwarewise. Fortunately for us, fglrx is still operational on Leap
42.1, under that version of Xorg, and we were able to demo games like
Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Diablo 3, Half Life, and several others to
the technical crowd using Crossover. This was extremely successful.
Our efforts would be greater and the technical interest would be
amplified if we were able to demo amdgpu-pro.

Kind Regards,
