That's too bad. Is something that we could potentially in our
implementation so that we at least have useful numbers in the
short-term, (if not a general solution)? Or do you have a recommendation
for something else to do here to get the numbers you want?

Can you give me some small pointers to what would be entailed here? (I'm
still a total GL newbie, but I can generally sift make sense of
documentation given some starting points.)

In the meantime, I'm also sifting through what documentation we have for
Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge on:

	http://intellinuxgraphics.org/documentation.html

to see what we could expose via AMD_performance_monitor that would give
us useful numbers.

Any suggestions will be most appreciated.
