Several new (or old) feature-branches proposed for upstream merge

I just noticed that I had botched my testing of these branches.

The code I pushed to the cworth branch of the apitrace repository is
just fine, but I had previously pushed inadequate code to the
apitrace-tests repository, (which would result in failures).

I've now pushed an updated cworth branch to apitrace-tests.

So, now, if you checkout the cworth branch from both the apitrace and
apitrace-tests repositories then all tests should pass.

I apologize if this resulted in any delay in reviewing these patches.
