Problem with Freeglut on Windows, SwapBuffers not detected

I placed the program and apitrace directories to an USB stick so that
I at least have exactly same software versions. As mentioned the
binary is statically compiled with freeglut (and also othewise with
the Visual C++ static compile options).

I am attaching the output of apitrace replay -v from the beginning,
truncated to the first glClear following the first SwapBuffers call.

As you can see the win8 trace is missing several (most of the) wgl calls
