[Authentication] fd.o authentication/sso project

Hi there,

I was just told that fd.o has acknowledged the single sign-on project and 
created a mailinglist for it:
http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/authentication

As I didn't receive a bugzilla notification when the bug was closed I thought 
I'd tell everyone cced to it 
(http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16581).

In the meantime I had a good look at gnome keyring and - as it's a lot more 
advanced than kwalletd - proposed to use it in KDE as well. Feedback so far 
was positive so I think I'll try and move forward with it.

@stef: I hope we can work out a way to benefit both KDE and GNOME as well as 
other free desktops.
