I still had it in my mail client.  Attached is the same, but modified 
somewhat - I am still unsure about the use dbus line for avahi-daemon. 
And I can't seem to get a good answer about the init scripts from any of 
the Gentoo devs, so until there is a full on release, I guess, it 
WORKSFORME.
