[avahi] DNS Proxy

Hi

I am developing a DNS Proxy which will need to support two scenarios:

 * Replying DNS SRV requests and forwarding to another DNS other
   type of requests.

 * The DNS Proxy will be looked up using DNS-SD and then contacted
   with a DNS SRV.

I understand that avahi wouldn't provide me any help on what I want to
do in the first scenario but it would help in the second one, right?

I would appreciate any comments, pointers, URLs, and general wisdom.
