Hmm, I wonder if this patch is such a good idea. You may compile Avahi
without support for POSIX capabilities. Such a build should work fine on
kernel 2.4. Your init script patch is not compatible which such a build.

Do current Slackware versions still support kernel 2.4? If this is not
the case you can ignore this objection of mine, I guess.

If Linux 2.8 is released this init script will break. Might be another
problem. 

Anyway, you are a Slackware guy, and I am not. If you still think
merging this patch is a good idea I will gladly do so.
