You shouldn't need to modify service-types or service-types.db to
see/use any service (new or not), those files are for human
descriptions for the service codes, as far as I can see.

If you need to add something to it (for example the italian
translations), I'm sure Lennart will be  happy to merge the new ones
and publish it with the next version.

If you still need to add a few lines to it for your own purposes, the
source package has the necessary script, and during compilation, it
also builds the .db version of the service-types file if it has been
modified.
