[avahi] Problems when avahi deamon is not startet on startup

Yes, the client needs the server to work. Is that surprising?

tv_sec=tv_usec=0 is 1 jan, 1970. We use it to have time events
dispatched as soon as possible, since normally time events are
dispatched as soon as the time they are created with is past.
