[avahi] avahi_client_new gives an error on Redhat

Hello,

I've created a service browser based on the threads example:
http://avahi.org/wiki/RunningAvahiClientAsThread
Which runs very well on my ubuntu development box but when run on Centos
(5) or Redhat (5.1) I get an error:
"An unexpected D-Bus error occured" when calling "avahi_client_new".


Did anyone face this issue before?
