[avahi] avahi-autoipd help

Hi everyone,
I am trying to use avahi-autoipd daemon and have few questions:

   1. does it sync with udhcpc?
   2. how does it work?
   3. does the ip address range is configureable

can someone explain how to work with this daemon?
