[avahi] Duplicate Hostnames

Guys any news on the duplicate hostname bug?

I use avahi to rebroadcast mDNS between VLANS, and all devices start taking suffixes (2) (3), i have seen devices reaching 11.000. I have a device “Mac Mini (11739)” 

How can I stop this?
