[avahi] build avahi-browse

Hi!

I've written a tcl/tk script that utilizes 'avahi-browse' and I would like
to package it as an AppImage. I believe this requires compiling
'avahi-browse' statically. I understand this may not be trivial, but I'm
quite familiar with C/C++ and Linux development in general. I'm just
unfamiliar with the avahi code.

Is this an all-or-nothing affair?
