This is an incredibly bizarre stack trace considering that is there is no
assert [directly] in cairo_font_face_create(). The closest I can think of is
that it's perhaps an assert within malloc (with gdb missing frames). In short,
my guess is memory corruption - valgrinding may provide better clues.
