i had the feeling that cairo was being written (in part) by some people
who have an extraordinary amount of experience with licensing and all
the crap that falls from this mess and who, inspite of that, still love
to make the pixels on the monitor light up predictably.
perhaps it is a reflective mistake people make when they try to guess at
ulterior motives.
one assumes from this thread that without support from all the lurkers
on this list that the handful of people actually writing this stuff will
wither and fade away without more expressed interest and the inclusion
into dubious projects.
i always pictured a handful of people who like to make their desktop
work nicely and are nice enough to share as long as you respect their
work and play nice back.
terrible ulterior motives. simply terrible.
i should hide underneath your lawyer safe loop-holed licensing clauses
from these people with such terrible purpose as those who write and use
cairo as it is.
