[cairo] Glitz backend

Hi,

I'm writing a scene graph & OpenGl based windowing system and I want a
powerful immediate mode 2d library availiable as a drawing layer ontop
of the simple OpenGl functions. Cairo/Glitz seems like a good candidate,
but since I intend to abstract the visual drawn to, glitz will need a
new backend - How easy would this be to do?, Is there any documentation
for glitz?
