[cairo] cairo 1.0.0 release and gedit => breakage ?

bugs confirmed

i can trigger it with gedit 2.11.92 and gucharmap 1.4.3

i only have it with cairo 1.0.0, not with 0.9.2 (i already did the 0.9.2
<=> 1.0.0 yoyo 2 times to be sure)

gucharmap triggers another warning before the same ones i have in
gedit :

(gucharmap:5681): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_window_set_default_size:
assertion `height >= -1' failed

then the usual :

(gucharmap:5681): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to
allocate widget with width 265 and height -1074790400

when clicking on a menu item
