[cairo] java-gnome adding cairo bindings

Carl,

As you probably saw in an earlier post the java-gnome team wishes to
add cairo bindings.  I have been working with Sooray (current maintainer
of CairoJava) over the past week to develop a strategy going forward.  We
agreed that the java-gnome team would maintain a binding that wraps
the core cairo library and is not specific to any toolkit (SWT, GTK, etc.).
Toolkit specific bindings could then be built over this library.  

Over the past week I have created the foundation for this core library
and Sooray has just reviewed the code.  We both feel this is a good
start for providing Java bindings for cairo and would like to get this
code into cvs.  I requested cvs access last week via the sitewranglers
list but haven't received any form of a response.  Is there any way you
could help move this along?
