I've just put up very preliminary, very rough roadmaps for 1.0.2,
1.2.0, and even a couple of 1.4.0 features, all at the URL above.
There are several things obviously missing. For example, there's no
date for the 1.0.2 release, (nor even a list of what bugs we still
want to fix for that). And there's no date for 1.4.0, (the open
long-term scheduling question previously mentioned).
Also, I made a bunch of very arbitrary decisions as I threw stuff into
there. For example, we don't currently have very active maintenance of
the quartz backend, so I put "supported quartz backend" in 1.4.0 not
1.2.0. That could certainly change if some interested quartz
programmers appeared.
Anyway, comments and recommendations are certainly welcome.
The mode I'd really like for this ROADMAP file is that the release
dates fall down from above somehow. Then, interested programmers look
at the release dates and decide what and when they can accomplish and
fill things in. Please, anyone with commit access that plans to work
on things, feel free to start working with the file that way.
If you don't have commit access and want to influence the roadmap,
then let's get you commit access so you can start helping to
accomplish what you'd like to see happen.
