[cairo] Cairo-1.0.0 Assembler error with Solairs 9 X86

Hello Everyone,

I want prepare Cairo-1.0.0 to make the next step with GTK 2.8.0
but i am standing stil with a strange Assembler Error on me Solaris 9 X86 
machine, the ´./configure´ run without error.

checking pthread.h usability... yes
checking pthread.h presence... yes

cairo will be compiled with the following surface backends:
  Xlib: yes
  Quartz: no
  XCB: no
  Win32: no
  PostScript: no
  PDF: no
  glitz: no

the following font backends:
  FreeType: yes
  Win32: no
  ATSUI: no

the Gmake run´s to the following folder structur /cairo-1.0.0/pixman/src/
and appear this error.

i run with 

Gcc version 3.4.2
Configured with: /configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as
--with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls --disable-libgcj
--enable-languages=c,c+ : (reconfigured) ../configure
--with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as --with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls
--disable-libgcj --enable-languages=c,c++
Thread model: posix

ld -v 
GNU ld version 2.16

ar -v
GNU ar 2.16


i have tested this similar bug repair for one file but without success
