[cairo] User font feature

Seems like you're investing a lot more utility in these user fonts than
I; I imagine any application capable of generating custom fonts will be
able to deal with the unicode->glyph mapping all on its own, along with
layout issues that this entails. But, I guess the canonical text->glyph
conversion in cairo is string based, so we might as well preserve that
here.
