I noticed as much.
Sadly, this second patch is still garbled, (I don't see the word
wrapping anymore, but the blank lines are missing the initial spaces
at least), so this still isn't applying easily.
If you can work out how to send un-mangled patches that would be most
appreciated. You can test by sending yourself some mail and then
piping the mail message to git-am and see if that works.
Finally, there's this little marker in the message here, just before
the patch itself begins:

mail). Anything after the marker will be ignored---so that's where
things belong like your PS. and other exposition about what to do with
the patch, (as opposed to descriptions of what the patch itself does).
