It doesn't seem like a particularly useful error ... would you ever
write code that would check it?

Really, the bug just needs to be fixed. I suspect it's hours, not
days of work.

And thinking about it, I'm pretty sure there is already a bug open
in bugzilla about this, though I'm a little too lazy to check at the
moment.
