[cairo] QUESTION about DOUBLE_FROM_26_6 and DOUBLE_FROM_16_16

hi all,
     I'm reading cairo's source these days. I found these two macros are
used heavily in cairo-ft-font.c.
They're 64-bit division, generally speaking, they're slow. I wonder if we
change these two macros to something
that directly handling the IEEE double, will be noticable faster?

   PS. According to Jinghua Luo, this is discuessed before. I'm sorry to
raise it again because I couldn't find the archives.
