[cairo] git connection problems

I can't checkout cairo from git at the moment.  Tried it from two
separate networks, so it must be a global problem:

$ git clone git://git.cairographics.org/git/cairo
defaulting to local storage area
fatal: read error (Connection reset by peer)
clone-pack from 'git://git.cairographics.org/git/cairo' failed.
