This has a patch needing review, it corrects the device<->user units
confusion in the atsui code. You don't have to know the mac code to
review it, its more the style of the thing I need looked at.

... although Behadad has apparently fixed the original issue up in
Pango, but I've put patches up today to make the test pass. The
patches sit after the one in 9568, but are more obviously correct, so
I'll sort out the conflicts and push these tomorrow anyway.

Fixing these makes the atsui image surface support essentially
complete, all the tests are now close enough visually, though we don't
have them passing 'make check'.

If noone objects to the 9568 patch I'll push it tomorrow anyway, its
been sitting there for a while now; after it goes in a bit of work
needs done on memory issues - the code has been handing out pointers
to automatic variables.
