Hi - I really wanted to try goocanvas and others but I cannot compile gtk+ 
2.10 on my Kubuntu box. It's time for me to upgrade, but I have too much 
going on for that. So, I have been stuck with older code. I'm just glad I 
managed to compile new versions of pygtk and cairo.
