Will this do? Its a tree with the surface mask patch removed, the
_cairo_error patch added, and the remaining patches fixed up to match.

It was based on your last 1.4, but due to the way it was made (stg
uncommitting a bunch of patches, and inserting fixes) its not just
patches on the top.
